Running for Ahmaud

Posted · 2 Comments

I work as a career coach and manager in Kalamazoo, MI and am training for my first ultra marathon, 34 miles. I thought this would be a great way to motivate me to complete my training miles and run for a cause I care about. I have been wearing my Ahmaud Arbery bib many runs and am devastated by the discrimination runners of color face while putting in the miles. I also work with people every day who are struggling with poverty and experiencing racism in their job search. Thank you ISAAC Kalamazoo for sponsoring Virtual Journey to DC for Racial Justice!

Good luck on your 34 mile journey.

  2. Thank you for placing Ahmaud Arbery in your activity. No one should fear running in their one neighborhood.
